It's different when the leaves are out.

Deb: I love highland coos as well, especially the calves which are just too adorable.

Quiltnbee: It's rare to get a few moments alone in popular tourist attractions like this, so I was very grateful.

Wendy and Laurita: Oh, the lure of Scotland! Will you ever be able to leave? I certainly wasn't, so be prepared to settle!

CW: One of those lucky camera moments.

Jane and Happyone: Thank you!

Robin: Perhaps you, Wendy and Laurita could get a group fare on plane tickets!

Hazel: I know! Some places are much more strict than others. Sometimes it's about protecting the art (which I understand) but other times it is more about selling postcards, which annoys me.

Chris: Well done with your oatcake making! Like you I went in the winter. I must admit though I was more in awe of the place when I went there as part of a primary school group. Since then I seem to have lost the sense of wonder about the place, maybe I got spoiled with some of the other places I was able to visit over the intervening years or maybe it just has a little more magic to the place on a hot summers day when the grass seems that bit greener and the flowers are in full bloom.Scotsmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09721900255963034112noreply@blogger.com
