This is why I want to go to Scotland. All in this one post."

I hope you have read (are reading) the 44 Scotland Street series by A. McCall Smith? Even the buses are discussed.

Speaking of husbands, he also has the D40 but right after he got it, he also got the D300 and it is much more versatile, but correspondingly much bigger and heavier. It is always a contrast between ease of carrying and ease of taking pictures. Plus the D300 writes to the card lightening fast. I myself am still using the tiny, old Coolpix!

Barrows, being man made, are much smaller and look like they might contain a Viking ship or two but not an entire civilization. I remember one of the first things I studied getting my art history degree was the Sutton Hoo treasures and years later, I got to see them at the British Museum. It has macro setting but I have to change to a zoom lens when I need it, which is a right pain. I'm not technical at all when it comes to my camera. I base everything on a "fill the frame" habit and hope for the best.PurestGreenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10860331983741242940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-473528606413302079.post-34659122457740169152010-04-11T20:25:50.861+01:002010-04-11T20:25:50.861+01:00Scotland looks like the most beautiful place.Scotland looks like the most beautiful place.Donnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10929209506187261986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-473528606413302079.post-67827577239142378402010-04-11T20:07:42.341+01:002010-04-11T20:07:42.341+01:00Great photographs; are you using a Marco lens for ...Great photographs; are you using a Marco lens for the Daff's ?
